La leyenda de la ruina de Kasch trata acerca de un reino africano donde el rey era ejecutado cuando los astros alcanzaban determinadas posiciones celestiales. A ese reino llegó un día un extranjero, llamado Far-limas. Contaba historias embriagadoras; los sacerdotes, escuchándolo, se olvidaron de escrutar el cielo. Con su llegada se inició la ruina del antiguo orden de Kasch, basado en el sacrificio. Pero el nuevo orden, que había abolido la ejecución ritual del rey, no tardó en desmoronarse. Sólo quedaron las historias de Far-li-mas.
